Who Was Bebe?
In 1925, a bright soul named Alma Louise Gregory was born in Saint John, New Brunswick. Her older brother nicknamed her "Bebe" almost immediately, and that name—just like her vibrant spirit—would stick with her forever.
From her earliest days, Bebe embodied what it meant to live life beautifully. She studied music at Mount Allison University, but it was her extraordinary ability to connect with people and light up every room she entered that truly defined her.
Bebe had a rare and wonderful gift—she made everyone feel special. Young or old, friend or stranger, all were drawn to her remarkable combination of outer beauty and inner warmth. Everyone who met Bebe loved her, truly and completely. She moved through life with impeccable manners and unstoppable enthusiasm. Her joy was contagious, her warmth touched everyone she met, and her presence made every occasion more special.
Bebe passed down more than just her genes—she shared her philosophy of living life to the fullest, of finding beauty in every day, and of nurturing both body and spirit. She understood that true vitality comes from within, and that taking care of oneself was an act of love.
